Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Joint Commission accredited Critical Access Hospital in Great Barrington, MA, requiring a BSN and at least 2 years of OR experience.

Details

• Work setting is a Joint Commission accredited Critical Access Hospital and Massachusetts DPH designated Primary Stroke Center serving the southern Berkshires community
• Operating Room department supporting a broad range of surgical services including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, and gastroenterology
• Day shift: 6:45am–3:15pm, 8 hours/day
• 13-week contract
• On-call requirements apply (details TBD)
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of current OR/RN experience required
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for this assignment
• Current OR Skills Checklist (within the past year) required for consideration
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• RTO of no more than 3 days may be requested and must be submitted upfront — RTO requests will not be approved after submission
• Travelers must have voicemail set up and be reachable by phone, as the facility will reach out directly
• Orientation is non-billable (8 hours)
