Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (M) certification for a 13-week contract in Bay City, MI.

Details

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, typically 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some schedule flexibility
• No weekend or holiday coverage required
• May be required to float to an alternate location, with mileage reimbursement provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Mammography experience required
• ARRT (M) certification required
• Bone density experience required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using specialized breast imaging equipment, with a focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
• Guide patients through procedures to ensure comfort and understanding throughout their visit
• Conduct equipment maintenance and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities in compliance with MQSA regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet regulatory requirements
• May assist with additional breast imaging modalities such as ultrasound or biopsies
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Copies of all certifications must be included for consideration
