Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical Unit position in Oregon, requiring active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

Work is performed in a hospital Surgical/Med-Surg unit
Patient population consists of adult patients pre- and post-surgical procedures
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
Floating to other departments may be required based on qualifications
13-week contract

Requirements

Active Oregon RN license required
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
BSN or MSN preferred
Previous Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
CMSRN certification preferred

Additional Information

Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and initiating computerized Plans of Care on admission
Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
CRASE training will be required if the assignment extends beyond 6 months
International candidates are not eligible for this position
