Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and on-call availability including weekends.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital
• 4x10-hour day shifts per week
• On-call is required, averaging 8–9 days per month including 1 weekend per month and 1–2 weekday call shifts per week
• Floating is required — travelers are first to float, with the possibility of floating to sister campuses located within 15–20 minutes of the primary facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• RCIS certification required at time of consideration — file will not be reviewed without it on profile
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
• License required if applicable

• Travelers are expected to function as core staff and integrate into the team culture — flexibility and a team-player attitude are strongly valued
• Block scheduling requests are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to offer — no RTO will be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday and includes both remote and on-site components; candidates must be in the area to obtain their badge/ID on that day
• Two professional references are required for consideration — at least one must be from within the past year
