Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Case Management position at an acute care Magnet-designated hospital in Alaska, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active AK RN license.

Details

Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 152 staffed beds
Case Management unit
Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
Charting is performed using Cerner

Requirements

Active AK RN license required; compact license accepted but candidate must apply for AK license prior to starting
Pending licenses are not accepted
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Navy scrubs required
No-cost parking is available for travelers in the nearby parking structure
Block scheduling availability to be discussed during the interview
No RTO restrictions
2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
