Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position at a Level 1 facility, requiring CVICU/CSICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Works in a Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a Level 1 facility
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of CVICU or CSICU experience at a Level 1 facility required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must have graduated from an accredited nursing school (ACEN or CCNE accredited); diploma, Associates, or BSN accepted
• BSN preferred
• Must not have been employed by this health system within the previous 12 months
• 2 professional references at the supervisor level or above required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides intensive care nursing to post-cardiac surgery patients
• Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests must be submitted in advance
