Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with pediatric experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a travel assignment at a children's hospital in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• Pediatric hospital setting in New Orleans, LA
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
• Weekends required
• Floating within the facility required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Active Louisiana state license required if applicable
• A temporary LSRT license is accepted and typically takes 3–5 days to issue once the application, proof of ARRT, and money order are received by the state board — payment must be submitted via money order, not personal check
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Work history gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Any color scrubs are accepted
• Performs clinical radiology services in accordance with radiology practice standards
• Demonstrates proficiency with all X-Ray equipment, protocols, and procedures
