Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with pediatric experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a travel assignment at a children's hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting in New Orleans, LA
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
- Weekends required
- Floating within the facility required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
- Pediatric experience required
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- Active Louisiana state license required if applicable
- A temporary LSRT license is accepted and typically takes 3–5 days to issue once the application, proof of ARRT, and money order are received by the state board — payment must be submitted via money order, not personal check
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Work history gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
- Any color scrubs are accepted
- Performs clinical radiology services in accordance with radiology practice standards
- Demonstrates proficiency with all X-Ray equipment, protocols, and procedures
