Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a day shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience and the ability to perform sedation and circulation for a range of complex cardiac procedures.

Details

Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 2 rooms
Adult patient population with an average daily census of 4–8 patients
Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Required proficiency in sedation and circulation for: Left Heart Cath, STEMIs, PCI, Right Heart Cath, pericardiocentesis, and temporary pacing wires
Preferred proficiency in sedation and circulation for: pacemakers, Bi-V devices, ICD implantable devices, and Inari for PE cases
On-call requirement of 3 shifts per week, with a mandatory 30-minute callback time to the facility
Weekend requirement includes 3 single weekend call shifts per month
Floating required within the specialty, to other units, and to sister facilities within scope of practice

Requirements

Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab required
Critical care or ED experience required
Must be able to meet a 30-minute on-call callback time to the facility

Additional Information

Scrubs are provided by the facility
Holiday coverage is required as scheduled, including one holiday shift and potentially the day before or after the holiday
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
