Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical/Telemetry overflow unit position requiring high acuity comfort, drip proficiency, and an active AL or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical overflow and telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• High acuity patient population with a 1:6 or 1:7 patient ratio
• Proficiency required with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a, with 3x12 or 4x12 hours available based on candidate preference
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement
• Block booking available
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL RN license or compact RN license, in good standing and currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Comfort with high acuity patients and higher patient ratios (1:6–1:7)
• Experience with IV drip management, including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
• Two professional references required for consideration
• PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
