Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with a minimum of 2 years of experience, specializing in OR C-arm and O-arm coverage at a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting at a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital
• Work primarily in the Operating Room environment performing surgical X-ray procedures
• Procedures include C-arm and O-arm coverage for surgical interventions
• 4x10 hour shifts, 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
• On-call shifts are required for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital setting
• Valid ARRT certification and current BLS required
• Proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems required
• Experience in OR/surgical X-ray procedures required
• License required if applicable

• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care during OR procedures
• Responsible for maintaining equipment functionality and adhering to safety protocols
• Candidates are expected to participate in continuing education and training to stay current with field advancements
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
• All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
