Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 completed prior travel assignment and 2+ years of invasive cardiology experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital, Level I Trauma Center
• Invasive Cardiology / Cath Lab unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with rotating days off
• On-call required for STEMI coverage approximately 8–12 days per month, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month
• Weekend work required as needed
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of invasive Cath Lab experience required; 3+ years preferred
• At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Active license in the state or compact license required — license required if applicable; no pending licensure accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Current BLS certification required; any certifications expiring during the assignment must have a documented renewal plan

Additional Information

• 13-week contract assignment
• Block scheduling is not available
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be forwarded for approval
• Travelers who were previously employed at the facility (permanent or internal) must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return
• If major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of 3; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered
• Vaccination status must be included with candidate profile
• Shift times are subject to change and may be discussed during the interview process
