Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient breast imaging clinic in Washington State, requiring an active WA license, ARRT (M) certification, and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
Details
- Outpatient breast imaging clinic located in a medical office building on campus
- Performs screening and diagnostic mammography services for adult and geriatric patients
- Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
- Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday shifts, though the unit is open the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve
- Day off during the week varies based on unit needs — typically Tuesday or Wednesday — requiring scheduling flexibility
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Epic EMR required
- Hologic equipment experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
- Active Washington State license required
- ARRT and ARRT (M) certifications required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Experience with 3D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammography required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff at any Providence facility other than this campus are eligible if separated for at least 3 months and residing more than 50 miles from the facility
- Local candidates are accepted
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington State; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; requests should be communicated upfront as post-offer changes may be denied
- Orientation is 8 hours
- Scrubs of any color are acceptable
