Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to work 4x10-hour day shifts at a Level II Trauma Center in Green Bay, WI, covering both body IR and neuro IR.

Details

• Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a 167-bed Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center in Green Bay, WI
• Patient types include neuro, general, biopsies, fistulas, and drains
• 7-bed pre/post area with patient ratios of 1:1–3 depending on the pre/post area
• Procedures involve both body IR and neuro IR
• Charting and documentation completed via Epic; experience required
• Equipment includes Alaris and Pyxis
• Images are sent through PACS
• 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Solo call coverage (body and neuro IR) at least one weekday per week, typically two weekdays, starting at 5:30 PM and ending at 7:00 AM
• Weekend call rotation approximately every 3rd weekend; weekend call begins Friday at 5:30 PM and ends Monday at 7:00 AM
• May float throughout the imaging department to assist with procedures, CT, MRI, etc

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
• ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to scrub and circulate IR cases
• Active license required if applicable
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
• COVID vaccine required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing in with providers during cases, circulating, Epic documentation, and sending images to PACS
• Unit support includes a charge nurse and bedside monitoring
• Orientation consists of general hospital orientation and a minimum of one shift on the unit as needed
• Aerosol-generating procedures (AGPs) are performed as needed; all CDC and facility PPE policies are followed
• Holiday coverage may include one holiday on call if needed
• Scrubs in any color are accepted
• Free parking available on site
• First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
