Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.

Details

• Operating Room in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• Handles complex, high-volume trauma cases with diverse and severe presentations
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage required
• Block scheduling is not available

Requirements

• Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma OR experience required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments with high case volume and acuity
• Strong OR skills checklist rating required
• Experience in small or low-volume hospital settings is not sufficient for this role

• Burn experience is preferred
