Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring strong PA line expertise, cardiac experience, and an active MA RN license.

Details

  • Hospital-based CVICU position, primarily based in the CCU with floating responsibilities to the CVICU
  • Cardiac patient population including surgical and medical cases
  • Strong PA line management and transvenous pacing are central to the role
  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices such as IABP and Impella is preferred
  • 12-hour rotating or night shifts (shift details to be discussed during interview)
  • 13-week assignment

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
  • Strong cardiac ICU experience required, either surgical or medical background
  • Demonstrated expertise with PA lines and transvenous pacing required
  • Experience with MCS devices (IABP, Impella) preferred
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

  • Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
  • Previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum 6-month break before being eligible
  • COVID vaccine (plus booster) and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
  • Parking in the Boston area may cost up to $43/day
