Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring strong PA line expertise, cardiac experience, and an active MA RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based CVICU position, primarily based in the CCU with floating responsibilities to the CVICU
- Cardiac patient population including surgical and medical cases
- Strong PA line management and transvenous pacing are central to the role
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices such as IABP and Impella is preferred
- 12-hour rotating or night shifts (shift details to be discussed during interview)
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
- Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications required
- Strong cardiac ICU experience required, either surgical or medical background
- Demonstrated expertise with PA lines and transvenous pacing required
- Experience with MCS devices (IABP, Impella) preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
- Previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum 6-month break before being eligible
- COVID vaccine (plus booster) and flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are accepted
- Parking in the Boston area may cost up to $43/day
