Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU/CCU position in Boston, MA requiring strong cardiac experience, PA line proficiency, and an active MA RN license.

Details

  • Position is in a Cardiovascular ICU/CCU setting within an acute care hospital in Boston, MA
  • 12-hour rotating shifts; specific shift assignment will be discussed during the interview
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required and must be in hand prior to start
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
  • Strong cardiac experience required — surgical or medical cardiac backgrounds both considered
  • Demonstrated expertise with PA lines and transvenous pacing required
  • Experience with mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices such as IABP and Impella strongly preferred

Additional Information

  • Orientation is held weekly every Monday, excluding holidays
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be accepted
  • Previous employees (travel, permanent, or per diem) of any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility must have a minimum 6-month break before being considered
  • COVID vaccine with booster and flu vaccine are required; medical exemptions are accepted
  • Parking in the Boston area may cost up to $43/day
