Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience, with a day/night rotation schedule.

Details

• Cardiovascular ICU setting within a hospital environment
• Patient population includes critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and vasoactive medication management
• Procedures include arterial line management, PA line placement and waveform interpretation, assist with line insertion and maintenance, and management of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
• Specialized experience with ICP monitoring, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs applicable to SICU/NCCU/PICU settings
• Day/night rotation schedule at 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued only)
• Arterial line experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Critical care nursing experience required
• Two manager references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Manage critically ill patients requiring pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation is preferred
• Experience with ICP monitoring, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs is preferred
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live outside a 75-mile radius of the facility
