Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

  • PACU unit within a large academic health system
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with variable start times
  • Post-anesthetic recovery patient population requiring airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
  • Floating required to preop and extended care units, as well as other campus locations as needed

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
  • Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
  • Proficiency in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
  • CCRN or CPAN certification preferred
  • 2 years of critical care experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Candidate must be prepared to float to preop and extended care units in addition to PACU
  • Must be willing and able to float to other campuses within the health system as needed
