Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position in California, requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and a minimum of 2 years of PACU experience.

Details

PACU unit within a large academic health system
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) with variable start times
Post-anesthetic recovery patient population requiring airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
Floating required to preop and extended care units, as well as other campus locations as needed

Requirements

Active CA RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
Proficiency in airway management, anesthesia recovery, and pain management
CCRN or CPAN certification preferred
2 years of critical care experience preferred

Additional Information

Candidate must be prepared to float to preop and extended care units in addition to PACU
Must be willing and able to float to other campuses within the health system as needed
