Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and an active CA license for a travel assignment in a hospital-based nuclear medicine unit.

Details

• Hospital-based nuclear medicine unit in an acute care setting
• Monday through Friday, day shift schedule (5x8 hours), 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in nuclear medicine within the past 2 years
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• Active CA state license required for consideration (license required if applicable)
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts allowed)
• One supervisory, director, or manager reference from the past year from the applicable unit is required; a second reference within the past 2 years from a charge nurse, co-worker, or educator is also required
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates are accepted
• No RTO (requested time off) is permitted within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; all RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration and cannot be changed once submitted
• Candidates who have previously been employed by this facility must be approved by the facility prior to starting an assignment; prior employment should be disclosed at the time of consideration
• Former employees must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling
