Description

American Traveler is hiring a Maternal Fetal Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS OB/GYN certification and at least 1 year of maternal fetal experience for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Raleigh, NC.

Details

  • Outpatient perinatal/maternal fetal medicine clinic setting
  • Performs a mix of OB exam types with occasional GYN scans
  • Caseload of approximately 7–10 patients per day
  • GE ultrasound equipment used
  • Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • No on-call requirements
  • May be asked to float to a nearby Cary, NC clinic location

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of maternal fetal ultrasound experience required; 2 years highly preferred
  • ARDMS OB/GYN certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • BLS required
  • Compact or North Carolina (NC) license required if applicable
  • Experience with GE ultrasound equipment
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • 1 supervisory professional reference from within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a lower pay rate
  • Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions or declinations accepted
  • Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
