Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position covering both a Medical/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit, requiring MS/Telemetry experience along with ventilator and transplant experience.
Details
- Works across two IMC units: an Acute Medical/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit
- Intermediate care/stepdown level patient population including medical, cardiac, thoracic, and transplant cases
- Ventilator and transplant patient care required
- Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Schedule runs Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
- Some holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 1–2 years of MS/Telemetry nursing experience required
- Ventilator and transplant experience required
- Telemetry experience with oncology, cardiac, or PCU/DOU/IMC/stepdown populations preferred
Additional Information
- Must pass a Telemetry competency test prior to starting the assignment
- 13-week travel contract
