Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) position covering both an Acute Med/Progressive Care unit and a Thoracic unit, requiring ICU or IMC surgical post-op experience and telemetry competency.
Details
- Assignment is a 13-week contract
- Traveler will rotate between two IMC units: D6/5 (Acute Med/Progressive Care) and B4/3 (Thoracic)
- Day/Evening shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Schedule is Monday through Friday with every other weekend required
- Some holiday coverage is required
Requirements
- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ICU or IMC experience with surgical post-op cases required
- Candidates with ICU backgrounds must be willing to work with IMC or general care patient populations
- Thoracic experience preferred
- Must pass a telemetry competency test prior to starting
Additional Information
- Traveler will care for acute medical, progressive care, and thoracic patient populations across two IMC units
- A telemetry test must be completed and passed before being cleared to begin the assignment
