Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a fast-paced surgical environment with a broad case mix including orthopedics, neurosurgery, and vascular, requiring Epic proficiency and an MD or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a high-volume OR running 10 rooms per day starting at 07:30
• Broad surgical case mix including general, vascular, orthopedics (including joint replacements), neurosurgery, urology, plastics, bariatrics, laparoscopic procedures, GYN, ENT, and robotics — excludes open heart and transplant
• Heavy emphasis on orthopedic, neurosurgical, and vascular cases
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00–15:30), Monday through Friday with some Saturday day shifts
• Block scheduling available
• No weekend requirement and no on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pending license accepted
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
• RTO is limited to 1 request for the duration of the contract
