Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in New Orleans, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and the ability to float to multiple ICU specialties.

Details

  • Hospital ICU setting
  • Patient ratio of 1:2
  • Float requirement to other ICUs, including MICU, Neuro, TICU, and Burn units
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
  • 4 weekend shifts required per month
  • Holiday coverage required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Epic EMR (experience preferred)
  • 8-week contract

Requirements

  • Active LA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • CCRN certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
  • Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered
  • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
  • Maximum of 5 days of RTO allowed for the duration of the contract
  • Navy blue scrubs required
