Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience, Epic proficiency, and ARRT/LSRT certification for a hospital-based position in Louisiana.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology setting performing plain films, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging
• Patient populations include neonates, infants, and geriatric patients
• Procedures include enema studies and surgery/C-arm cases
• Equipment includes PACS, GE, Philips, and Siemens systems
• Epic EMR experience required
• Schedule is a 40-hour work week consisting of one 8-hour shift Monday through Friday and two 16-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• May float to surgery as needed
• Rotating on-call required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology/X-ray experience
• Experience with neonate, infant, and geriatric patient populations required
• Experience with enema studies and surgery/C-arm procedures required
• Active ARRT and BLS certifications required
• Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — temporary LSRT accepted (typically issued within 3–5 days upon fee payment and proof of ARRT certification)
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former permanent employees of any facility within this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
