Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Epic EMR proficiency and the ability to float to other units as needed.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit featuring 9 labor and delivery rooms, 2 operating rooms, a 4-bed triage area, and a 2-bed PACU
• Uses OBIX fetal monitoring system and external fetal monitoring
• Circulates for C-sections
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; float assignments will be limited to units and tasks for which competency has been demonstrated

Requirements

• Active RN license — SC or Compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent L&D experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Valid driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Obstetrical patient triage is a core responsibility of this role
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant Prisma Health flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position
