Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience, with night shifts and every other weekend availability.

Details

Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Every other weekend required
No on-call responsibilities
Floating to other units required
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license — TN or Compact license required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience required
Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
AHA-issued certifications are required — no other issuing bodies accepted
