Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Float Pool position requiring PICU and NICU experience, with floating across multiple pediatric units on night shift.

Details

• Pediatric float pool (SRO) position floating to multiple units including PICU, NICU, Peds Med/Surg, Peds PACU, Peds ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Night shift, 7p–7a (4x12-hour shifts per week)
• 36 or 48 hours available per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• EMR: Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be considered
• Current certifications required: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending; candidate should be aware there is an associated cost)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• NICU experience required; prior NICU/PICU float pool experience preferred
• Peds PACU experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Must provide a copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card for consideration

Additional Information

• This is a float pool role; candidates must be comfortable floating across all listed pediatric units and must adhere to the facility's float policy
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must allow 12 months to pass before returning as a traveler
• No radius rule — local candidates are accepted
