Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Neuro position at a major academic medical center in Cleveland, requiring at least 18 months of neuro stepdown experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

Hospital-based Neuro Stepdown unit
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts)
PCU/progressive care experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

Active OH RN license or compact state RN license currently in hand
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in the specialty prior to any travel assignments
Minimum 18 months of recent Neuro Stepdown experience required (travel experience acceptable)
A valid driver's license and Social Security card are required for consideration

Additional Information

Must work at least every other holiday
ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
Two professional references are required for consideration
