Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background.
Details
- Operating Room (OR) unit in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month
- Holiday coverage required
- Block scheduling is not available
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Level 1 trauma OR experience required
- Proven experience in high-pressure, high-volume trauma environments with diverse and severe cases
- Strong OR skills checklist required
- Burn experience preferred
Additional Information
- This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and challenging surgical cases
- Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
- Local candidates are accepted for this position
- Copies of active certifications and license required for consideration
