Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Rehab position in Oregon, MO, requiring at least 1 year of PT experience and LTC or SNF setting experience.

Details

• 8-hour day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements
• 13-week contract in a long-term care or rehab setting
• Caseload includes patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs
• Responsibilities span evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge summary documentation across rehab and LTC settings

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II clinical experience may be considered
• LTC or SNF setting experience required
• Missouri state PT license required (compact license accepted); license required if applicable
• Active licensure and certifications required at time of consideration
• 1 professional reference required for consideration
• Ability to supervise PTAs, rehab aides, and students
• Adherence to APTA and Missouri state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and treating patients using manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, ambulation, assistive devices, and wound care
• Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions and modify treatment based on patient progress
• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers
• Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehab team meetings
• Accurately documents treatment minutes, clinical records, and discharge summaries per regulatory requirements
• No more than 7 days of RTO may be requested
