Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week outpatient travel assignment in Damariscotta, ME.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting located at the Webster Van Winkle Building in Damariscotta, ME
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
• Caseload of approximately 10 patients per day
• 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions with 30 minutes of built-in documentation time per day
• 13-week contract duration

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current PT license required if applicable
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering skilled outpatient PT services, same-day documentation and billing, and completing discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge or notification
• Collaborative work environment with the outpatient rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of care
• This is a summer coverage position; time off during the week of July 4th cannot be approved
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this history
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may be subject to a different bill rate; local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Float policy requires willingness to travel up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
• Personal device use, including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones, is not permitted on the unit
