Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Kingfisher, OK, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active RN licensure.

Details

• Hospital Med/Surg unit with 25 beds
• Inpatient and swing bed patient population
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12s
• Every other weekend required (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• No on-call or float requirements
• EMR: Epic
• 26-week contract

Requirements

• Active OK or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 or more days within the past 12 months
• Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless renewal documentation is provided

Additional Information

• PALS certification is preferred
• Black scrubs required; unnatural nail colors/enhancements and unnatural hair colors are not permitted
• Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but should be aware of local contract restrictions limiting consecutive placements at the same facility
