Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Alabama, requiring at least 1 year of Med/Surg experience and an active AL or Compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Floor 6) in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
• A valid driver's license is required for consideration
