Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 22-week outpatient travel assignment in Boothbay Harbor, ME.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy setting within a rehabilitation services department
• Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8 hours per day
• Caseload of approximately 10 patients per day
• 45-minute evaluation and treatment sessions with 30 minutes of built-in documentation time each day
• 22-week contract duration

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering skilled outpatient PT services, completing same-day documentation and billing, and finalizing discharge documentation within 24 hours of discharge
• This is a summer coverage position supporting the primary outpatient team; coverage during the week of July 4th is required and time off cannot be approved for that week
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility in Maine or New Hampshire are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
• Float policy requires willingness to travel up to 25 miles between facilities as needed
• Use of AirPods, laptops, and cell phones on the unit is prohibited
• Travel pairs or groups are not eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this at the time of consideration
