Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level IV NICU position requiring a CA RN license and a minimum of 3 years of NICU experience, with variable day/night rotating shifts.
Details
- Work setting is a Level IV NICU in a hospital environment
- 12-hour variable rotating day and night shifts (days: 7:00–19:30, nights: 19:00–7:30)
- Straight day shifts are not available — candidates must be open to variable rotating shifts
- Patient care involves complex neonatal cases requiring vent management, trach management, telemetry, pulmonary artery lines, umbilical/central line management, and chest tube management
- UVC and UAC procedures are part of the scope of practice
- Floating to PICU and CICU required
- Floating to other facilities within the same health system may be required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 3 years of Level IV NICU experience required
- Competency in vent management, trach management, telemetry, pulmonary artery lines, umbilical/central line management, and chest tube management required
- Experience with UVCs and UACs required
- Must be able to float to PICU and CICU
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
Additional Information
- All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of offer — requests submitted after the contract is signed will not be considered
