Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1-2 years of OB/MFM experience, including nuchal scanning, for an Antenatal Testing Center position in Alexandria, VA.
Details
- Outpatient and inpatient antenatal testing center setting
- High-risk pregnancy patient population including twins/triplets, fetal anomalies, and first trimester screening cases
- Patient caseload of approximately 10-12 patients per day
- Sonography team consists of 5-6 sonographers
- Uses GE Viewpoint
- Level II ultrasound, amniocentesis/CVS procedures, and nuchal translucency scans performed
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No weekends, no holidays, and no float requirement
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of OB/MFM (Maternal Fetal Medicine) ultrasound experience required
- Nuchal translucency scanning experience is required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- ARDMS certification in Obstetrics required
- NT certification preferred but not required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Scan high-risk obstetric patients including multiple gestations, fetal anomalies, and first trimester screenings
- Assist with amniocentesis and CVS procedures
- 3-day orientation provided
- Black scrubs required
