Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III neonatal intensive care travel assignment in Crown Point, IN, requiring a minimum of 3 years of NICU experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• 25-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a hospital setting
• Cares for patients of all gestational ages and acuity levels in a Level III NICU
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Equipment includes Bubble CPAP, ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, feeding pumps, breast pumps, and Alaris IV pumps
• Epic EMR experience is relevant to this role
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends assigned as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to the postpartum unit required when needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of recent Level III NICU experience required
• Preferred skills include IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP management, and ventilator experience
• US Social Security Number required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Hospital-issued scrubs are required; personal scrubs are not permitted
