Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) night shift position in Maine, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience and current ACLS and BLS certifications.

Details

• Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) in a hospital setting
• Modalities include cardiac progressive care, med-surg adult, cardiac telemetry, and telemetry med/surg patient populations
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend may be required at the request of the department manager or supervisor
• Local candidates are accepted for this position

Requirements

• Active Maine RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to multitask required

Additional Information

• Performs patient care functions under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse in accordance with Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
• Must be a team player with flexibility in scheduling
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced local pay rate
• Holiday coverage required for: Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July
• Travelers may work a maximum of 2 consecutive 13-week assignments before being required to leave the facility for at least 26 weeks before returning
