Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in California, requiring an active CA RN license, BLS, and NRP certification for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• 13-week travel contract at a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit in San Leandro, CA
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required — must be in hand at time of consideration (pending licensure not accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS and Advanced NRP
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent L&D experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Preferred: BSN or related degree
• Preferred: 5+ years of L&D experience, with experience occurring within the last 2 years
• Preferred: 1 year of high-risk OB/L&D experience within the last 2 years

• All licenses and certifications must be active and in hand; pending credentials will not be accepted
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of cumulative assignment time without taking a minimum 90-day break — this applies regardless of whether work was continuous or completed across multiple assignments with gaps of less than three months
