Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with Level I trauma experience and proficiency in Siemens, McKesson, and Cerner for a 13-week evening shift contract at an academic medical center.

Details

• Level I Trauma academic medical center setting
• MRI department serving adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care patient populations
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• On-call availability required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of overall experience with at least 1 year of MRI-specific experience
• Level I trauma experience required
• Experience with adult ICU, pediatric, and adult acute care populations
• Proficiency with Siemens and McKesson equipment required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Active BLS, ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
• Missouri or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more
• 2 professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers may be considered if they have at least 2 years of Level I trauma experience
• Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are eligible but may be considered at a reduced pay rate
• Any requested time off must be submitted upfront or it will not be approved
• Position is located in an active healthcare environment with potential exposure to contagious illnesses
