Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a NICU position requiring a MD or compact RN license, NICU experience, and trach experience, with a rotating day/night schedule every other weekend.

Details

• Located in a pediatric hospital NICU setting
• Pediatric/Surgical unit caring for patients with conditions including prematurity, AOP, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, NAS, and iatrogenic NAS
• Trach experience required for this unit
• PCU experience preferred
• Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00–19:30 days / 19:00–07:30 nights)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within the specialty, including to a Baltimore sister campus
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — MD state license or compact license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Trach experience required
• Pediatric nursing background required
