Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring strong orthopedic and surgical subspecialty skills and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• Strong skills required in orthopedic surgery including total joint arthroplasty (TJA), sports medicine, foot and ankle, spine, and GYN procedures
• On-call required one night per week from 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM and one weekend every 4 weeks from Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating to other units and/or campuses within the health system may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units they are qualified for

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR nursing experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security Number for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the relevant Prisma Health flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville) to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Candidates residing 50–99.9 miles from the flagship facility may be eligible at a reduced rate; candidates 100+ miles away qualify at the full travel rate
• 13-week contract
