Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring NRP certification and experience with vaginal and C-section deliveries, working rotating day and night shifts.

Details

• Work setting is a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Rotating day and night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license for Pennsylvania (PA) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Experience performing vaginal exams and assisting with vaginal deliveries required
• Experience circulating in C-section deliveries required
• Proficiency with IV placement and blood draws required
• Ability to recognize and respond to obstetric complications such as postpartum hemorrhage and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting with vaginal deliveries, circulating in C-section deliveries, and newborn stabilization post-delivery
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
