Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Level IV trauma experience and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department setting with 14 beds
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• EMR: MEDHOST-EDIS
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• No on-call or block scheduling requirements

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Level IV trauma experience required
• A valid Driver's License is required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Scrubs must be any solid color
• Parking is available in front of the hospital
• Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
