Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced inpatient RN for a Rehab position at a dedicated rehabilitation hospital in Chesterfield, MO, requiring a MO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across multiple floors
• Specializes in care for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, complex orthopedic conditions, and more
• Adult patient population (18+ years)
• Night shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patient ratios of approximately 1:6/7 on days and 1:8 on nights; each nurse has a dedicated patient care tech
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float requirement within 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
• EMR: Epic
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of MO or a compact license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS (CPR) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• CRRN certification is preferred
• Black scrubs required; agency-provided ID badge must be worn
• Flu vaccination required; candidates with an approved medical or religious exemption must submit a facility-specific exemption form and provide email approval — masking (nose and mouth) is required from November 1 through March 31 for those with exemptions
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the contract
