Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist with RDCS or CCI registration and experience in 2D/3D Echo and TEE for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Details

• Hospital-based sonography unit within a health system
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekend requirement: 1 in every 4 weekends
• May be asked to float to other facilities within the health system as needed
• Procedures include 2D Echo, 3D Echo, and TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography)
• PACS and Philips equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• RDCS or CCI certification required (registered cardiac sonographer)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Proficiency with PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment required
• Experience with 2D Echo, 3D Echo, and TEE required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac sonography procedures including 2D and 3D echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography
• An EKG exam is required during the compliance process and is pass/fail with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
