Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting, requiring active PT licensure and BLS certification.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting, with some exposure to acute care in different departments; no outpatient
• 4 days per week, 10-hour variable day shifts, totaling 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Documents Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active PT license in Colorado or from a PT Compact participating state required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification from AHA required and must not expire prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience in the specialty required, with clinic setting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school required; Doctorate degree preferred
• ACLS (AHA) preferred
• 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) required

• Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient needs related to functional status, mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions, then developing and executing individualized treatment plans
• Evaluates patient progress and adjusts interventions to improve overall well-being
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential
• Must be highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from this facility system for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
