Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Rocky Mount, NC, requiring a valid NC or compact RN license and at least one year of RN experience.

Details

Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
12-hour AM shifts
13-week contract
COVID-positive patients are included in this unit's patient population
Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

Active RN license in North Carolina or a compact state currently in hand
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Graduate of an approved nursing program
Two professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration
SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with prescribed medical regimens, hospital policies, and the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act
Practice is guided by established principles and standards of care with minimal supervision
Candidates must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
