Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with 3+ years of acute care experience and FL licensure for a 13-week Rehab SLP contract at a hospital in the Fort Myers area.

Details

  • Acute care rehabilitation setting within a hospital
  • 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 5 shifts per week with weekend days required
  • Performs Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies (VFSS)
  • Adult acute care patient population
  • EMR: Epic
  • Travelers will be among the first to float and may be assigned to sister campuses, all within 15–20 minutes of the primary location

Requirements

  • Active Florida SLP license required (if applicable)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in adult acute care or hospital SLP
  • Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and VFSS required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Two references required for consideration — one within the past year, the second may be over a year old
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify

Additional Information

  • Candidates will undergo an initial HWL prescreen interview followed by a manager interview prior to offer
  • No block scheduling requests will be accommodated
  • All RTO requests must be submitted prior to consideration and will not be approved after an offer is extended
  • Smoke-free facility
  • Candidates are expected to secure full-time housing in the area for the duration of the assignment
